Game Description:
Amongus is a multiplayer game of 10 people wherein you and your friends are in charge of a spaceship that contains many different operational rooms designed with particular tasks and your job is to complete the tasks on this spaceship in order to win the game.
But, at the beginning of the game, the system assigns certain people as the imposters, and their job is to sabotage these tasks so that the crew members cannot complete them to win the game, as well as kill the crew members whenever possible.
Every time a crew member is killed, an emergency meeting is called upon discovering the body and the members come together to decide who they think is the imposter and kick them out to space.
The advantage that the crew members have is that they are larger in number against either 1-2 imposters. Every crew member, along with completing their tasks, need to be on the lookout for the potential imposter.
In the event of a doubt, the crew members can call an emergency meeting in order to discuss the potential imposter in the chat room.
The imposter’s job is to throw them off and shift the blame on the crew members and get them kicked out of the spaceship in order to win the game.
Whenever a member gets kicked out, the game reveals whether the player was an imposter or not.
The advantage that the imposters have is that they have an upper hand over the control of the spaceship, they can sabotage different functions of the spaceship, some that can be solved easily and some that need immediate solving, or else the imposters win.
For example, if the imposters sabotage the oxygen system and if it is not fixed immediately, the oxygen on the ship runs out and the imposter wins.
The imposters also have control over certain gates and entrances in the spaceship in order to trap the crew members and kill them.
The imposters also have exclusive access to special vents/tunnels in the space ship which allow them to move from one section of the ship to another strategically without being spotted by the crew members.
In the event that someone gets kicked out of the spaceship or dies, they come back to the ship as ghosts.
The ghost of a crew member can still finish their remaining tasks, but they don’t have access to the discussion chat anymore as otherwise, they would reveal the identity of the imposter.
The ghost of an imposter can no more kill the crew members but can still sabotage the predetermined areas of sabotage on the ship.
Thus, it essentially is a race between finding the imposters and completing the tasks before the imposters kill the crew members.
The game is free to install and play, but you can choose to pay real money for some extra items, which will charge your Google account. You can disable in-app purchasing by modifying your device settings.
